Well I did manage to have a quilty weekend despite my daughter having a friend over Friday afternoon, night and all day Saturday and then leaving for a sleepover at another friend's house this afternoon (she'll be back home late Monday afternoon).
Friday (normally a day off for me) I had to work 1/2 a day in the office and then being the weekend before a holiday it took me almost 2 hours to get home due to traffic. So I didn't get any sewing done Friday like I wanted. But I did find a pattern for some blocks for a Row Robin.
So Saturday I finished the hand applique on a round robin border that has been giving me fits. But it is finished now and ready to be mailed out to the next person.
Then today, I pulled the fabrics for the Row Robin and cut out all the block and finished the blocks this evening. So all I have to do in the morning is to put the blocks together and pack up the package to be mailed off to the next person.
The really nice thing about these RRs is that I seem to be able to find everything I need in my stash. So I haven't had to buy any fabric for them yet and I am able to bust a little stash as I go :)
I haven't posted any pictures because we are trying to keep these a surprise. Sorry
I also finally played with my EQ6 the other night and drafted my final setting for my Doll Quilt Swap II top. I have the blocks made so maybe I'll take a picture of the blocks when the sun comes up and give you a sneak peek of them :)
Hope everyone else had a nice quilty weekend, I know I did!
