Working on "The King"

Well I am finally quilting swooze's king size Log Cabin quilt! It has been tough to get up the courage to start quilting, but by golly I have started :) I have the top borders quilted and will get the rest done this coming week :) Now that it's started I can work on it in the evenings and git r done :)

I opted to quilt freehand feathers on the 2 outer borders and swirlies on the inner border. Here's a pic of the progress so far :)

Very pretty quilting. . . I like how the feathers echo the paisley fabric (I love paisleys).

Nice quilting! Love swirls and feathers - they give an elegant feeling to quilts.
