Today sure was a productive day!! I finally finished piecing my Blooming Nine Patch top YAY!!! This top has been 5 years in the making and I am just thrilled to have it done.....now to find the time to quilt it and decide how I want to quilt it LOL
I also decided that I wanted to make a small purse to take sailing tomorrow. I'm going on a wine tasting sail and didn't want to lug my normal purse along.....So I searched the stash and made a Runaround Bag and a matching Wonder Wallet. Both pieces took about an hour to make including cutting the pieces out. This was also the first time I'd ever made either of these patterns. Talk about EASY!!!
Oh and remember the leader ender project I cut out not too long ago??? Well the blocks are FINISHED!!! I pieced all the blocks while putting the Blooming Nine Patch together and now they are ready to be pieced into a top....Guess it's time to decide on another leader ender project LOL....I hope you all have had a good day as well :)

The quilt's looking great. Love the bag too. I made a runaround bag the other day and you're right - quick and easy. I might get the wallet pattern some time too. The wine tasting sound fun.
