Well even though I had to go to meeting at the office today (after removing 1/4" of solid ice from my car), it was a great day! When I pulled into the driveway I saw 2 packages on the doorstep and they were for me!!
The first package was my Valentine's Swap from Lynette in Australia. Here's what I saw when I opened the package:
And here's what was inside the package: Lynette stitched the little tag with a bear angel (so cute!), there was also an angel brooch, a paper ball with hearts on it, a bracelet with my name and a heart on it (my daughter has one of these and I'e always wanted one of my own), a big chocolate heart and a little pillow. The pillow is a hand stitched sampler that says "Forever Friends we will be, Like Peas in a Pod". The stitching is absolutely amazing and I love love love the colors she chose!!! Thank you so very much Lynette!!! I hope you enjoy what I've sent you and that it arrives soon!!!
The other package was my order from Red Rock Threads!! I ordered a pretty rotary cutter (I have a real addiction to gadgets and bought the Gingher rotary cutter yesterday at JoAnns LOL), some Wonderfil Thread to try in the HQ16, a spool of 28wt Aurofil verigated thread to use for some machine embroidery "redwork" and some more Fil-Tec prewound cotton bobbins. I love these bobbins! The thread is great and I use the cream color the most!
Hope everyone else is staying warm and safe!!

Hi Beth, I am so glad that the parcel arrived with you safe and sound. I will let you know when my parcel has arrived.
You did get some wonderful goodies. I love your new red recliner too. It looks very comfy.
Just found your blog and wanted to say hi. What a great package you got. So fun when the mailman delivers something like that instead of bills ;) That is a beautiful cutter too. Have fun with your new goodies!
Saw those nifty rotary cutters at the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival. How cute - what a nice indulgence!
Good for you!
