I Love New York!

My 14 year old daughter and I took a trip to New York City today to see "Wicked" on Broadway! What a fabulous show! We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the show. It's nice to live within a few hours of "Broadway"! If you have the chance to see this show, do yourself a favor and go see it! It is well worth the money :)

More Finished Projects!
It feels so good to be finishing things for a change.
I joined a Pincushion/chatelaine swap and put the finishing touches on these tonight. They will go out in the mail tomorrow :)
Enjoy!

What a Fun Guild Meeting!
Bonnie is such a sweetie and the quilts are even better in person than on the web!
If you have a chance to see her in person take the opportunity! I drove 1 1/2 hours each way and it was well worth the drive! I can wait to see her next year when she comes back to Maryland for another presentation :)

The Doll Quilt I Made......
...finally arrived. There was an issue with the USPS, but it is safe and sound in Ohio now with Dani. I just got an email from her that she got it and she loves it. I had a blast making it and am very happy with the way it turned out.
This was such a fun swap! I'm so glad I joined :)
I Love Goodies in the Mail!
I got home from a bunch of appts with my mom and there were a stack of packages at the front door :)
My pincushion from Darlene's birthday giveaway was here. I just love it!!! It's made using some of the Celebrate Spring fabrics and I love those fabrics!
I also received 2 new Jelly Rolls (In the Pink 2 and Allspice Tapestry) as well as a pattern for scissor cases, a purse insert pattern, a book with several purse and tote bag patterns, a book on Fat Quarter Quilts (need to use up some of these recently purchased FQs) and Eleanor Burns' Still Stripping book (need some fun patterns for 2.5" strips with all these Jelly Rolls I've been buying).
So even though I bought some fabrics strips, I purchased several patterns that will help me to use up some of my stash :) I sure hope it works!
I have also been doing a little here and there on the quilty front. I finished the applique portion of my block for a theme applique swap I joined. I just need to do a little embroidery on it and it will be ready to be sent out. I'll post a pic when it's completely finished :)
Thanks for visiting!
