On (and Off) the Needles–December 28th

I can’t believe it’s the final OTN post of 2012.  I have had quite a productive year knitwise!!

As of right now I’ve knit nearly 9 miles of yarn this year….that is so hard to believe!!

I did manage to finish up Christmas gifts (one hat was finished late and will be given today).

The socks for my cousin were finished on Christmas morning….

My daughter’s hat was finished last weekend…

And I started and finished a hat for my daughter’s boyfriend…

A hat for my Mother in Law….

And I’ve started and nearly finished a Hoodwink Scarf for myself.  This is knit with String Theory DK yarn held double on HUGE size 11 needles.  I feel like I’m knitting with jumbo crayons.  But wow is it ever knitting up fast!  I cast on Wednesday night and am about 40 rows away from finishing the 2nd scarf side….Woohoo!

Hop on over to JudyL’s Blog to see what’s on everyone else’s needles…

Love the hats!!! Is there a pattern for your daughter's hat? I think my grands would love it!
Isn't it funny how huge size 11s are after using 1s and 2s???
