Believe it or not I was able to participate today in the Quiltathon that JudyL hosts periodically!!!
Today was also Summer Mystery 2008 Day on a couple of yahoo lists! So I sorted my nickels and started sewing bright and early!!! I am thrilled with my "If I had a Nickel" top! I decided to make a crib size and used pinks and greens from Moda's Celebrate Spring line with Kona Snow for the background. I still plan to do a narrow inner border using the Snow with a piano key border using the white nickels from the same line. With borders this quilt will finish approximately 50 x 58 inches. Since I tend to make larger baby quilts this will be perfect for a baby girl. So I'll hang onto it as a gift since many of my friends are having babies.
I still have 2 more days to sew and I'll keep you all posted on my progress in the sewing room. I hope everyone is having a quilty weekend!

We must have had the same schedule today Beth. I was "participating" in Judy's quiltathon, by making Ann's mystery. And I did it in baby size, blocks the same direction as yours, and girly colors to boot! :)
You are on a roll today! This is such a pretty quilt too.
wow Beth I like yours too!! I'll post mine tomorrow- I tested for Ann this time and had the same layout as you and Leah!!
