The Jolly Green Giant's TP Roll

Roll of Batting

Several people have asked for a picture of my hanging roll of batting. I went to Lowe's Home Improvement Center and bought 2 closet rod support brackets and used an old closet rod that wasn't being used in the sewing studio anymore and had hubby hang my roll of Quilter's Dream Puff batting above my HQ16 system. This way the batting is accessible and the cats cannot destroy it :)

He is so handy! I can just see the cats trying to figure out how to get up there!

How funny of your DH. Definitely the best use of space I've seen in a sewing room yet.

LOL. Hadn't ever thought of it that way before. I guess he's right -- it does sort of look like a big roll of TP. LOL

When i was the leader of our local sewing group, it was my job to keep the roll of polyester batting. English houses are really small so it lived in our shower stall for a while (not very convenient) and then lived on top of a giant pole leaning in the stairwell (the pole held it up above head height so it wasn't in the way, like a giant cotton candy). Wasn't sorry to give that away when I stood down as leader!
