Finally Something Quilty!

Well I finally managed to accomplish something quilty this weekend. I decided to do a mystery quilt that was posted this weekend on the A Pocket Full of Mysteries yahoo group and I'm so glad I did!! I still need to add the outer borders but the center of the top is all together :)

Horses!!

Well my daughter and I went to visit my friend Penny today. She is here in Maryland for the weekend and riding her horse (also named Penny) in the Memorial Day Parade in Washington DC tomorrow. We had a great time with Penny and her family and friends this afternoon!

My Baby Girl is Growing Up!

Sorry I haven't had much to post that's been quilty, I cut my foot last weekend and have been unable to sit at the machine :(

But tonight I dropped my 14 year old daughter off at her first formal dance.....sigh.....She looks like a beautiful young lady (a far cry from her typical tomboy attire LOL)

Happy Birthday to Me!!!

Well today was my birthday and it has been a pretty relaxing day. My daughter fixed us dinner and hubby got me a birthday cake :) But tonight hubby and I went out and I got my birthday preesent from myself to myself......my very first Tattoo!!! I have wanted a tattoo since I was in college and I finally went for it :) The tattoo is a pink Shoofly quilt block with a four-leaf clover sitting ontop of the block. I am so happy with it and it really did not hurt as badly as so many people said it would LOL
